Richard's method involves exquisitely detailed study but results in large compositions that are in effect poetic and exciting tapestries of light and shape. His first series widely exhibited in London focused on seascapes and his second series focuses on foliage.
We are entranced by Richard White's work, especially his foliage paintings and also his wonderful foliage drawings done in pen and ink which focus on the play of light through the structure and shape of foliage.
